If the person allows her, Lumina can also read their thoughts, sensations, and feelings, as well as let them experience any kind of simulated or forwarded sensations.
It basically gives the person a direct connection point to Lumina’s network, and by that Alexandra, without becoming too intrusive.
With Lumina having access to their perception, she also simulates her projection to the person, meaning they can see and interact with her, just like Alexandra.
For Elizabeth
In Elizabeth’s case, they also often use it so, Elizabeth can experience a portion of what Alexandra feels, allowing her to feel the same extreme pleasure and pain of Alexandra’s absurd Bane body.
Alexandra, Lumina, and Elizabeth are almost constantly connected in their mental link, a continuous flow of their love, desire, and obsession flowing between the three.
For the Twin Daughters
The brain link implant for the twins finally let them connect fully to all of their mothers, finally allowing them to directly communicate with Alexandra or Lumina, not through microphone and speakers. Most of the time, though, Lumina shields their daughters from the connection of Alexandra, Lumina, and Elizabeth, only allowing normal communication to flow between all five.
